Our Mission and Purpose
Asians & Friends Atlanta, LYC is a social group of individuals who gathers for friendship, social functions, educational activities and more. We currently have no membership dues but we do request that those interested join our email distribution list so that they can receive periodic newsletters and announcements for special events. Our mission is to:
  • Foster an increased understanding between LGBT Asians and non-Asians;
  • Promote a sense of community among LGBT Asians and non-Asians; and,
  • Develop friendships through cultural, social, and educational activities.

Our Next Event
December 6th, 2008 (SAT) - Christmas Party

Jim and Sean will once again open their home for the Christmas Party. Come celebrate the holiday season with your friends from A&F. In keeping with their holiday tradition, Jim and Sean will be providing the food for this party.

Where: Jim and Sean's (address will be sent out via email a few days before the event)
When: December 6th, 2008 (SAT) - Starts at 7:00 PM
Food: Jim & Sean will graciously be providing the food.
Drinks: Please bring your own drinks.

Gay (Korean) Actor Found Dead in Apparent Suicide
The Korean Times - .Actor Kim Ji-who was found dead in his house in an apparent suicide. Police said his suicide reflects public prejudice toward gay people and their difficulty in succeeding in the entertainment industry.
